Overall they are nice definitely better then the cheap set I currently have but all 6 steak knives came covered in some sort of weird sticky residue that was hard to clean offWe have had the set for about 8 months and they work good. I only wish we could order indivisual knives. We lost the paring knife already.These came nicely packaged and I was pleased with the look. Really liked the built in sharpener.The color is beautiful and these are really well made, heavy duty knives. I do wish this set had a larger chopping knife but I love it over all!After complete kitchen remodel I needed a knife set that would a little color to compliment the grays and white in the room. The knives are excellent quality and very sharp. I love them.They work great.Seems to be holding up just fine and still razor sharp. I would recommend these or get them as a gift for someone.I am constantly using the knives and they are easy to hold, sharp and I love the fact that the sharpener is made into the wooden block for easy access.
