It works just like the name implies it wont drive nails but its not a hammer is it??slicer was much larger than anticipated. more industrial size than individual/home.I typically buy blocks of cheese as opposed to already sliced cheese. This wire cheese cutter lets me cut as thin or as thick as I need the slices or slabs to be. It's easier to handle than I thought. Because of its larger size I thought it would be clumsy but it is perfect for my hand and lets me control it easily. Love this cutter. There was an extra bonus with this purchase...there are two in the bag for less than 10.00!!!The wire is too loose or flimsy.
