The four stars is because it is too thick in the cylinder!! If they made this a quarter size smaller in the size of the cylinder, It would be fantastic. From what I see it is solid and sturdy different. No complaints on the knife. But I did not put it through the rough throwing or bouncing treatment. Or to try to slice a half a beef in half. Yet throw it in your truck or car and you have a knife for hiking, camping, traveling, or even boating. It is not for every one, but it is useful. Hope I helped.Cool design and idea behind this but the knife rusted on me the 2nd day. It clearly says it’s made from stainless steel and I even had the metal cover over it while I was bringing in from the rain. But when I opened the next day it was completely rustedI have 2piece only. suppose to be three pieces .please send one more piece. Thank youthe item had no blade, and was missing the third hand piece. What dissapointmentDidn’t have it for a week and it fell apartA pretty good club in it's closed state. I'd give the knife blade 3 stars. Fairly sharp but could be sharper, and in this configuration it should be double edged. It's possible to hold the knife 2 handed as a mini-spear with the "sheath" extension attached. I haven't tried throwing it. Unfortunately, the extension has a non-threaded bottom end, precluding the addition of further extensions. Perkin should make it possible to purchase intermediate 12" extensions to change it into a true assegai or short spear/javelin, thus making it a truly exotic weapon and an even more capable survival tool. Great for hikers and survivalists. And, even as is, a relatively inexpensive, exotic, yet practical gift for the knife psycho who has everything.Great knives, I have many yet these are use full , look great w/ good value.Cooles Spielzeug
