I have this on tape going back many years and before the CDs; this is prime blues going back from 1927-1953; of special lovlinessis Bukka White on #s 15 & 16; a marvelous, driving blues with so much energy and pleasure to hear repeatedly. The various artistsare all well known, especially Robert Johnson and Son House. This is real blues and without the modern day instruments that detract from the real origin of the blues. For me I can't get enough of this CD. For anyone who appreciates the blues you can't gowrong with this one. Ed J Mizrahi
