This is my EDC knife. I love them so much that I bought 2 myself and 1 one for each of my brothers. It is a great knife on its own. When you factor in the price, it is incredible. I also have the tactical version but like the feel of the base version more.Great quality and smooth action right out of the box. Sharp and everything you would expect as advertised. However, the grip is terrible. The smooth metal slabs pinch into your palm and makes handling the blade awkward. Any sort of addition surface would help. I might try duct tape for more handle grip. As is, I would not consider this an EDC. You can not beat the price! Worth every penny, but if I'm not willing to carry it then it will just end up in a drawer somewhere. Just my two cents. Enjoy.Purchased this knife to mainly use for Long Range Fishing which requires a stainless steel blade and non corrosive handle and hardware (this one has carbon steel hardware but I will change out to SS). This knives blade came razor sharp out of the box and rides on ball bearings (not ceramic) came perfectly centered and is a flipper but has thumb studs for deployment also. It has a little weight due to the SS handle scales but the width is thin making it svelte to carry with it's deep carry clip. It is also a framelock. I purchased the black version hoping it will help with corrosion resistance. I usual carry a Spyderco Pacific Salt but end up giving them away to crew members but these have become so expensive, the reason I purchased this one with it's outstanding 14c28n blade steel at a very affordable price. Has a T8 pivot and T6 body screws and taking it apart and putty it back together was a 2 minute job. A great affordable EDC knife.Easy to carry and sharp right out of the box.I like this knife it's thin and doesn't take up much in the pocket great knife for the moneyI bought this knife looking for a good EDC knife to carry at work everyday. I am a mason by trade. This knife is exactly what I wanted. Though it may be that I just don't have enough experience with knives to know what I am missing, for the price, I cannot think of any improvements that I would like made. I like how thin it is in my pocket and I like its action.I decided the action was too stiff so I did take it apart and bend the framelock out a little to remove some of the tension and loosened the main blade screw, making the knife easier to open. I also greased the ball bearings with some silicone grease and put blue loctite on all the screws. After this once over it felt much better. The blade is not the highest quality steel. It does, however, hold an edge well enough for my needs. It also takes a very sharp edge with little effort. With my Worksharp Guided Field Sharpener, a shaving edge can be had in short order. I realize that the blade steel quality is probably necessary to achieve such a low price and in this case I am okay with that tradeoff. For the price I got a very usable knife that I don't have to worry much about losing and that is up to every task I've given it over the past four months. In short, I am incredibly pleased and am only giving this knife five stars because I cannot give it six. This is such a good knife period, but for the price you need this knife. I love the heft of this knife yet it’s thinly profiled and a great slicer. I’m a big fan of this knife and it’s maker Ruike, as I have several others as well.I just ordered this knife again because I gave my last one away. I have or have had several higher end knives including sebenzas, spydercos, zero tolerance, etc and this knife has got some serious pocket time. The quality and value of this knife is exceptional. Deep pocket clip is one of the best Ive had. Flat grind makes slicing food a breeze. I often chose to use this knife as a steak knife, prep knife, and general duty kitchen blade when Im in a hustle. It crushes. The 14C28N steel is excellent. Easy to sharpen, holds an edge, and is not expensive. Having owned many expensive knives in the past, this knife has actually made me question the real value of carrying a $50+++ EDC blade. The most recent purchase is actually the finest quality RUIKE yet. The QC on this one was spot on. Perfectly centered blade, no play, sharp (but could and will be better when Im done with it), and the coating was very well done. This knife is really that good.Ordentlich verarbeitetes ultra-flaches Messer !!!Die Schärfe ist bereits ab Werk hervorragend - der Papiertest ging glatt durch - sauberer Schnitt !!!Flipper u.
