The photos were absolutely wonderful. And the book focused on exactly the knives that I am interested in. It's fascinating to see the developmental changes benches in particular models over the years. And these changes are well documented. There are also separate sections for groups of similar knives vividly displaying the variations in these handmade products and a very Useful section on sheets and their various makers. All in all this was exactly the book I was hoping it would be. This wouldn't be my only Randall Made reference book. I think Gaddis is essential to a complete understanding of the overall topic.
