Not sure I'll ever intentionally be striping wire with even 12v going through it but I like that the handle is nice and thick. Works great makes it much easier than using just a razor. Great for airgaurd mchl and tray cable, marine cable is still tough but that's not the knife's fault that stuff just sucks.Very handy, be sure to use gloves because it is very sharp. That is the best tools for cut isolation on big cable, and u can t cut wire inside! It seems a genuinely well thought out little tool, just a shame it couldn't cut a wet fart. God forbid you try to use it outdoors in winter.Hard to use on heavy cableExpensive for what it isEasy to use and and excellent tool for stripping cable without breaking the internal wires. Working in the telecommunications industry this is a great tool. Not very good, slips off the hook a lot so potentially dangerous to injury.great for safely cutting along outer sheath/insulation of heavy duty cables (20/50/100 pair copper telecom)without damaging any pairs, love this tool
