I've been hearing people talk about this knife for over a year and don't know why it's taken me this long to purchase one. I collect knives and while I don't look to spend $500+ on a blade I certainly have some pricey ones in the safe. That said I get no more joy out of a $500 knife than I do a $30'ish dollar knife when the perceived value is attained or even surpassed. The QSP Penguin exceeds my expectations of what a $30 knife can be. The action is buttery smooth, the blade was hair shaving sharp out of the box and is oh so slicey. It has replaced my Ontario Rat 2 in D2 as my work place EDC since it gets used and abused daily and just keeps on ticking. Now if I can just stop looking at all these premium versions for a minute than maybe I can save a dollar or two ;)This knife works for people who have to rip open things, one handed. It's also tough D2. I sharpen knives....I've given one of these to three people. I've gotten one back that only had to have a touch-up after hard use. Well built, sturdy and comfortable in hand. Sharp blade and easy to sharpen. Easy and smooth open/close.I got this with the shredded carbon fiber and satin blade. This is probably one of my cheapest EDC knives, but its also one of my favorites. Good hand feel, has enough weight to feel substantial, and the action is amazingly smooth.Love it but I've had it like 30 some days and I have many pocket knives I have a little obsession going on put it in my box pulled it out a couple weeks later little rough spots on it??? It wasn't used it was just carried you know a week or so in and out of the pocket maybe open a box or two no wetness around it it's in a good dry box with some of those silicone packets to keep stuff from rusting little disappointed in that polished it out she can still see the little marks then again it was like 30 bucks so I can't hate on it muchBeautifully made knife , scales are well done just a little smoother than I would like and the handle could be a hair longer. Everything else is top knotch , just buy itLa navaja es exelente, la acción es fantástica (al principio se siente un poco dura, pero con el uso se vuelve mucho más suave). Las cachas de micarta se sienten exelentes en mano, el tamaño es perfecto y la forma ergonómica, pero lo mejor es el acero d2, retiene de maravilla el filo y a contraluz se notan unos patrones que parecen como si fuera damasco (espero que con el tiempo se forme una patina que resalte estos patrones). En definitiva pensaré en comprar la que tiene las cachas bde mezclilla.La penguin es una pequeña navaja de tamaño suficiente para no sentir que te pesa en el bolsillo, pero sin que se pierde su presencia en el bolsillo. El clip esta adecuado, con un poco de juego, es más debido a los agujeros que trae el clip son algo grandes, pero es bastante seguro su agarre a las cachas de micarta. La compré en micarta azul y me gustó mucho, el. material siente con un buen agarre en mano, trae un filo muy bueno de fabrica. Al momento de desplegar la hoja se siente fluido y casi sin esfuerzo, de igual forma al cerrarla. QSP está posicionándose cómo una favorita en Amazon por una buena razón: su relación calidad/precio. Recomendable al 100%.Una grata sorpresa esta navajita, la vi destacada en un instagram de EDC y les hice caso y no me arrepenti. La navaja se ve muy bonita y de buenisima calidad, viene con buen filo de fabrica.
