I got a couple of these knifes from my parents over 20 years ago I have no idea when they actually got them. I have tried getting different knifes but nothing compares to my old ones. I finally got another 2 sets by searching for the name on the knife. These are the best value ever and will last. They are not the fat, heavy steak knives you sometimes see, but they cut great and stay sharp for a very long time. I highly recommend them!Beautiful to look at and they cut perfectly. These are the best steak knives I have ever used. I had a set of these that came with a block set of knives. I upgraded my knives based on recommendations from Cook's Country. I went with their recommendation for steak knives. I have been very happy with the knives they recommended but the steak knives were crap. I thought I had given the old steak knives to Goodwill but discovered one of them under a seat when I was cleaning out my car. Thankfully it had the manufacturer's name on the blade. I went to Amazon, put in the name and was please to find they had them available. I couldn't be happier.We bought these in hopes that they were the same as the set we bought over 20 years ago (which are still sharp, but a few have disappeared over the years)…These are even nicer! Slightly heavier and larger than the originals- not to mention very sharp! Great value for the price!!I had one left from a purchase many years ago. We have purchased other manufacturers knives, but these are superior to all others. I’m sure these will last for many many years.I had a set years ago. Somehow they have disappeared. So I thought I would try to find them and I did. The handles a different but the knife is the same. I use them for everything not just a steak knife. I love these.Great value and we’re very pleased!We needed some new dinner knives with a serrated edge and I came across these whilst searching the Amazon website. I was a little wary at first because of the given dimensions of 30cm (that's just short of 12" for those clinging on to imperial measurement !). I took a chance that this was not the dimensions and I was right to do so, The actual length of the blade is 11cm, handle 9cm, 20 cm in all (about 8"). They are extremely sharp, well made, and make ideal steak knives. I would definitely recommend them.I bought a set of these knives and forks about twenty years ago and have used them every day since then. I was down to three knives (nothing lasts forever) and was searching for some more and, thankfully, found the exact ones. The colour doesn't last long on the handles but I really don't care about that it's the performance I was interested in and these are brilliant. Highly recommend.The knives are extremely sharp and easy to hold / use, and considering the price are good value for a set of steak knives. My disappointment is that despite advertising the handles as made from wood they are 'polywood', which is actually plastic made to look like wood. It does make them feel cheap to hold and I'm annoyed at being lied to by all the descriptions of the item. Unfortunately the only way to find this out is to open the packet, meaning the knives can't be returned.I enjoy a 'blue' steak every so often but only had one serrated knife that was capable of dissecting one. I bought these steak knives and was immediately impressed with the quality, weight and 'feel' of them on arrival. They're almost surgical in their cutting edge power, well constructed with no signs of the cheapness that you might expect from the very competitive price. Well worth the money!
