I lack counter space in my small apartment. I needed some thing that I can attach to the wall to store my knives. I think 49.99 is a little high for this quality. It’s worth Maybe 29.99 or 39.99 the most. The stainless Steele is on the thin side. There is no back. What I do not like about it is there’s no bottom cover. I’m concerned if kids put there hands in underneath they will definitely cut themselves. Does it hold my knives? Yes. It’s the most decent looking one I can find to hold my knives so it’ll do for now. I have attached a picture of the bottom. So you can see.This knife holder was not to my liking out of the box and I returned it the same day. To be clear there is nothing wrong with this knife holder and in most situations it would be of value. For me I did not like it being thin stainless steel with no heft of feeling of professional grade. The open back was not to my liking and having the knives at an angle to accommodate the thinner size did not feel right. You have to judge for yourself but being old and picky I did not want this for myself.Didn't care for the quality, so returned.My replacement item. First one was damaged in the same area,, and this one too.Maybe the packaging needs more padding. It comes in a box with no additional padding.Looks like a good product but disappointed with the damage in a brand new item that you paid full price.Deciding to return it all together or take another chance.If vendor is willing to discount the item I'd pound out the dent and keep it.Works as expectedIt had some sharp edges on the base. Other than that works great.Love thisProduct does not come with plastic knife slots. You’re paying $50 for a stainless steel housing.
