I was hoping for better, but ok considering the price. I bought them to set the blades on a newly acquired (a gift) vintage, read that old, Delta planer. They are a nice idea, but how do you get it in the same place each time? Especially on a round cutter bar? Close maybe, but I need it within a thou or two. The markings on the post have no relation to each other. At best, they are indicators. My final solution was to set one at the height I needed, set one end of the blade, then slide the gauge down as close as I could, by eye, and set the other end. Unfortunately, being off grid, I have found my generator doesn't have the power to run the planer, so I can't truthfully report if everything worked correctly. That being said, I wasn't happy with the performance. I'll keep them tho, as they may be useful somewhere that doesn't require a high degree of accuracy. My2ct
