I got this knife for serving samples in our bakery. We do real whole-grain breads (grind our own flour & bake in a brick oven), so they're pretty hearty, yet this knife slices through the breads like butter! Even the super crusty, dense sourdough spelt bread!It is amazing and super sharp, and has withstood dozens and dozens of uses without needing sharpening. Very easy to clean. The scalloped blade is great for more ergonomic use.I use one at home too, and it's also the king for cutting up those large, soft juicy tomatoes from the garden that would otherwise just smash all over the place.My parents had one of these for 20+ years before the handle finally broke. Well worth the money!
